Fixed wireless has had an important role in bridging the digital divide and can continue to play its part in the development of broadband (20 Mbps) and ultra-broadband (>30 Mbps). It is a flexible technology, capable of reaching regions that are extremely challenging in terms of access (referred to as ‘clusters C and D’) with significant coverage, high bandwidths and in a timely manner.
